The Dennis Light Four is a newly tooled fire engine entering the 1:76 Emergency Vehicle range. Dennis is a name that has been synonymous with UK fire appliances since the company started manufacturing them in 1908. The first model off the tool is based on the pump escape registered BPM 213, which served with the East Sussex Fire Brigade, based at Turners Hill. The Brigade crest is intricately reproduced in black and gold out of red on both the cab doors. The fire crew would have sat in the open seating area, which is moulded in black on our replica. The body is painted in the traditional red with black chassis. All other body details are masked black or with a chrome or silver effect finish and the roof ladders are brown. The Brigade name along the sides is printed in gold lettering, with other lettering in white, silver or gold. There are so many details to admire on each side of this model, particularly to the rear, where the body trim, pump fittings, light surrounds, dials and rear step edges are finished in silver.
